A Rube Goldberg machine that is used to squish a Creme Egg. It goes around the walls of our lounge. The music is by the Jews Brothers Band – they are awesome: www.jewsbrothers.com Here are some answers to questions people keep asking me – the ringing ball comes out of the red flipping box. – the painting tilts, which causes the top ball to run down it. – a keen eye will notice the egg unravels out of its foil wrapping. – at around 1:52, the balls are rolling behind a sheet of glass that is at a slight angle so that the balls have to revolve a lot just to move a small amount. – it took about 6 months to make and 3 days / 200 takes to film. THe Music Music Video awards aired last night on the Fuse network here in the US. For those of you guys who aren’t familiar with Much Music’s awards show, it’s sort of like Canada’s version of our MTV VMA’s. Miley Cyrus hosted the entire show, performed, and she even won one of the night’s biggest awards for best international video of the year. Her MMVA’s rendition of “Can’t Be Tamed” was very cool, and had an almost tribal vibe to it. Her dancers were off the charts. Not only that, she was also a great host – super funny and was able to role with the craziness of a the live show. Other great moments included incredible performances from our very own Katy Perry, Kei$ha and two uber famous Canadians, Drake and of course, Justin Bieber. Drake and JB were clearly the crowd favorites and it was wild to see someone, anyone really, and in this case Drake give Justin a run for his money when it came to riling up the crowd. The casts of The Secret Life of the American Teenager and The Vampire Diaries were crowd favs with the Canadian audience. The overall set up of the show was insane – it appeared as though an entire downtown area was closed off for the show and the crowd consisted of fans only – it was more of fan experience than anything, making it different than our MTV awards show, where celebs …
On 7th August 2009 typhoon Morakot slammed into the city of Hualien on the east coast of Taiwan. I traveled to Taiwan and met up with British storm chaser Dave Johnson to try an intercept the eye of Morakot. At around 2315 local time on 7th August the eye passed right over us in downtown Hualien.

Following up on previous work done on the Virtual Windows concept. This video shows the new Virtual Windows demo program in action. The viewer and the screens are taken for a ride in the virtual world. The demo program will run also on single monitor configurations. Virtual Windows is developed as a visual engine that will be used on various simulation projects my company works on. With todays cheap displays, projectors and multi head graphics cards it makes sense to tie these all together into a seamless perspectively correct engine. Jorrik participate on a tunnelrun (with 30 other exotic cars) with a Ferrari 360 wich has a Tubi exhaust installed. This is tunnel 2 of this tunnelrun, if you want to see the first tunnel check out the video response. In this video passes by an F430, and if you look good you can see that this F430 has a very cool F1-light at the back! It looks very cool! I hope you like the video and please leave a comment!
